Karin Gillette

It was in 1994 that Karin relocated from the suburbs of Philadelphia to the North Shore of Chicago and first discovered her passion for real estate, launching her career with Koenig and Strey Realtors in Glenview, Illinois. Following a six-year expatriate experience in Asia, where she worked in Singapore while raising her family, Karin returned to the United States, and fully re-committed to the industry, joining Liz Caldwell Group in 2009.

Through a combination of personal experience, natural intelligence and easy approachability, Karin has earned her reputation as someone who is equally a joy to work with as she is effective. The job is about results, as well as about the people and the relationships, and ensuring a positive experience. Her ability to listen and respond to her clients’ needs enables her to pinpoint their goals to create a strategy to get her buyers and sellers where they want to be! In 2005, embracing the South Florida lifestyle, Karin and her family relocated to Fort Lauderdale’s Idlewyld Community, where she is actively involved in her neighborhood and is a member on the Idlewyld Board.  They are members of the Lauderdale Yacht Club and enjoy boating, fishing, tennis, and TV binge watching.   Her oldest son graduated from and sailed for Villanova Business School and Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Her younger son graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School and Florida State University. Karin supports the ALS Foundation, Saint Jude's Children's Research, and Food and Allergy Research.
